The charm of Cala Biriala:
panoramic trekking and boat return along Baunei Coast
The excursion includes hiking down to Cala Biriala and returning by RIB to Santa Maria Navarrese port.
We start from Baunei by off-road vehicle and venture into the Supramonte, passing through the Golgo plateau to the trailhead at Ololbissi.The path winds through charcoal makers' mule tracks leading to Piddi, where, beyond the ancient sheepfold, you'll be left breathless when the view of Cala Biriala opens up from a sheer cliff over 300 meters high.
The walk continues descending toward Biriala, through ancient shepherds' passages suspended on the cliff face.
After crossing the Bilariccoro forest and photographing the rock arch, you can enjoy the beach for a few hours before the boat return.
